Hi West Sedona School Families!

I have been a School Counselor for nineteen years and was a PE/Health Teacher before becoming a counselor. I have been able to work as a school counselor at every level; middle school, high school, and now I work at the elementary level and enjoy every aspect of it, especially helping my students!

I have a husband, two sons, a big orange cat, and two Chihuahua’s. In my free -time, I enjoy spending time with my family outside hiking and camping. We moved to Sedona Arizona after spending twenty -five years in Flagstaff Arizona, two years ago. I also have a love for cooking and enjoy making great meals for my family!

My goal in life has always been to help others so becoming a school counselor was the perfect career choice for me. I enjoy helping the students believe in who they are and assist with helping them identify their strengths and interests in life.

Working as an elementary school counselor I get the opportunity to teach classroom lessons that focus on social/emotional health and college and career readiness. I look forward to and hope to have a positive impact on the Sedona Community!
